The Mobile Scanning Units
Each PET/CT mobile unit is 13.6 metres long, 2.57 metres wide and 4 metres high and houses a scanner plus a small waiting area. The mobile trailer will be positioned within the grounds of the location. Once in position, the motorised truck will detach and leave the unit.
A set of stairs lead up into the unit which is fully climate controlled for patient comfort. The patient is welcomed by one of our team. Where space allows, there is a Patient Support Vehicle where there is a reception area and toilet facility.
The mobile unit is fully accessible for disabled patients. Toilet facilities will be available either on the Patient Support Vehicle or within the location.
